Copy no.37 from the edition of 50 plus five proofs. Signed by illustrator and printer Solomon to colophon. Presented as a collaboration between artist and author in which each influenced the developing work. 12 plates with text facing, in fine, clean, crisp and bright order throughout. Attractive endpapers. Binding is split-grain leather from Westchester Leatherworks, with an embossed stag's head to the upper board and a debossed version of the same to rear. A little light surface wear to leather. Colophon mentions slipcase, but this not present, and not seen with other copies in the edition. Scarce. Folio. Unpaginated. [57pp]
