Odd amalgam of a book. About half devoted to the history and current state of journalism, with much on the press of today (1909); the other half to the progress and current state of medical science, with much positive about Burroughs Wellcome. Both parts extensively illustrated. General good order internally, bar splitting at front hinge which means front board, spine and one prelim are loose. Remainder holding well though. Gilt to all edges of block. Pink cloth heavily worn and faded to spine. Scarce. 16mo. 352pp
