Description
Pleasing volume of Cammaerts' poetry, effectively translated into English without too much concern for metre and rhyme and thus now sounding very contemporary. Proceeds from this first edition went to the Belgian Soldier's Fund for the purchase of tobacco. All crisp and clean internally, pages just a little tanned commensurate with age. Endpapers browned. Green cloth a little marked and faded to spine.
