Notable for the 12 full page plates by Ardizzone which are clean and bright and showing very well. Some toning and very occasional marking to text but otherwise all in VG internal order. Cream cloth with bight gilt titling, a little marked to edges and lightly stained. Good unclipped d/j, faded and stained to spine, lightly worn to edges and toned to rear. 8vo. 243pp + plates
