Description
First edition of first UK-published collection from Stedman, garnered from works published in the US over the previous 19 years. Stock toned to page edges, but otherwise all in VG internal order. Some pages uncut. Remnants of labels to front pastedown which look, by shape and position, to indicate this has come from the Yale University Library, and its Betts Poetry Collection. No other indications of library usage however. Bevelled-edged boards with smart green cloth, lightly bumped to corners. Bright gilt decoration and titling to front and spine. Scarce. 12mo. xiii, 238pp + 32pp publisher's catalogue.
