Description

Written by father and daughter Sir Martin and Agnes Conway, and signed and dedicated by the latter to pioneering psychologist and Society for Psychical Research stalwart Helen Verrall on fep. 14 of 15 colour plates - frontispiece is missing - one of which is loose. Foxing early and late, but bar the occasional outbreak, all is mostly clean and bright internally, with plates showing well. Gilt to top edge of block. Light wear to brown boards with gilt and green decoration and titling and colour plate tipped on to upper board. 8vo. xi, 202pp + publisher's list
