First issue of 'Junior', with the content of a magazine publication for younger readers, but in book form. Contains article by George Orwell on World Affairs -1945, as well as contributions by Hugh Nicol, Stephen Spurrier, Nicholas Bentley, Eleanor Farjeon and others. A curious and scarce item. Some damp-marking to last few pages, with hinge opening, though holding, at rear board. Tanning commensurate with stock quality. In green damp-stained paper-covered boards with black titling to front and spine. Thus a reading copy only. This is a charity sale on behalf of Friends of Morston Church (reg.1099831)
