WW1 history, produced by the Congregational Church "to record the triumph of right over might" and presented to schoolchildren. The title page of this copy notes "this books is presented to the 7,000 Elementary Scholars of Barry by Mr J C Meggitt JP". Colour endpapers show the arms and flags of the Allied countries. Various photos, maps and illustrations in text. Former owner's name neatly to title page. Some toning and spotting, but in general all in good internal order. Cloth bound to spine, and this worn through at staples. Stiff boards marked and dulled. Scarce. This is a charity sale for Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 8vo. 52pp
