Description

An exercise in corporate vanity publishing, providing detailed insight into Loker's work. This volume, scare in hardback, analyses the creation of Loker's commission, Thriding, for the (now long gone) printing firm Watmoughs. Numerous sketches and a brief commentary from Loker conclude with a colour plate of the completed picture. Curiously this does not match the painting, supposedly also Thriding, featured on a color card laid in to a pocket at the front of the book. All in fine internal order. Black boards are a little marked with light crease to front. This is a charity sale for Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 4to. Unpaginated.
