In the attractive quarter calf binding of the Birmingham Medical School with marbled paper-covered boards. Leather marked to spine and a little worn to edges. Neat repair to rear of half title, a little marking to early pages. Rebound (date unknown) to include original ff endpaper with Birmingham Medical Institute presentation label. Block edged in red to all sides. 8vo. 537pp.
