Description
A complete set of Kirkby Ireleth parish magazines from January 1914 to December 1924, though 'magazine' perhaps overstates the production, as each issue is a single sheet, most printed double sided. Much on births, marriages and deaths of genealogical interest, news of the Great War, and the usual events of a small Westmoreland parish. Later issues are printed on poorer quality stock. but barring this, all is in VG, clean and bright internal order. Foxing to endpapers. Green cloth well marked and dulled, with gilt titling to spine. 3pp 1924 history of the church laid in. This is a charity sale for Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 8vo. Unpaginated [264pp]
