Entertaining collection of campanological miscellanea, with much on individual bells, inscriptions, ringers' rules, etc. Stock toned, with occasional spotting, though this minor. Spidery inscription to fep verso notes purchase by H J Griffith for 2 shillings from W Hunt of Norwich on 7th October 1886. Griffith's armorial bookplate is to front pastedown. Further notes to rear. Endpapers split at front hinge, but binding holding firm. Black embossed blue cloth a little worn to edges, bumped to corners and dulled to spine. Contemporary article on church bell inscriptions laid in. 16mo. 156pp + advertisements
