Excellent two volume collection of Hearn's newspaper writings with much on the black, downtrodden and poor of Cincinnati and New Orleans. Ex-library, with labels, etc to front pastedowns and occasional stamps throughout text. Seemingly last issued in West Yorkshire in early 1930. Stock a little toned, but otherwise all in good internal order throughout. Smart blue cloth with gilt titling to spine showing a little edgewear. 8vo. i. xlii, 275pp; ii. ix, 289pp
