Description
Remarkably scarce first edition of this (much reproduced and) charming book in very good condition throughout. Crisp clean and bright internally. Pleasingly produced with coloured frontispiece by Montgomerie and "seventeen photographs from a Hampshire Garden" each tipped on to printed borders within text. Patterned purple and grey boards, a little faded to spine. VG d/j a little worn to edges and tanned to spine. Companion volume, "More Gardening Don'ts" is also available. This is a charity sale on behalf of Friends of Morston Church (reg.1099831).
