The second volume of Freeman and Bennett's humourous Pepysian First World War diary, greatly enhanced by Kettlewell's illustrations. A few spots to the block edge, but internally all is clean and bright. Brown paper-covered boards with lighter brown cloth and dulled gilt titling to spine. Fair unclipped d/j well worn, esp to edges and with loss to spine. Marginally enhanced by being in removable protective sleeve. 12mo. [12], 304pp + 4pp publisher's ads.
