Early edition of this Lake District guide, dated from the Railway Routes and hotel guide supplements bound to rear. Well illustrated throughout with numerous engravings. Much interesting advertising. Considerable sporadic foxing though many pages clean and bright. Various fold out maps; frontispiece map has closed tears. One colour plate loose. Printed paper-covered boards well worn with corner crack to front board. Despite all the faults, not unappealing, with much content of interest to the Lakes lover.
