Exceptionally scarce and very early, presumed first, edition of this curiosity, which presents a series of 'amusing' engravings before a short comic play where much fun is had at the expense of the Somerset dialect and accent. The drama begins at page 15 and while it is indeed the fifteenth page of the publication, the abrupt start suggests there is some matter missing. This impression is amplified by an amateuish sewn cloth spine which looks like a later addition to the printed card covers. Foxing and general toning.
