Description

Third printing (September 1931) of first edition (July 1931) as stated internally (though jacket claims third 'edition'). Now hard to find in early printings and moreso with d/j as here. Toning to endpapers and some light foxing early and late, but for the most part all in VG clean and bright internal order. Two press cuttings featuring Wilkinson and his puppets fixed to fep verso and half title. Minimal wear to smart blue boards with bright gilt titling to spine. G+ unclipped d/j, lightly worn to edges and rather toned, moreso to spine. This is a charity sale on behalf of Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 8vo. 245pp
