Description

The engaging periodical record of the Poetry Project at St Mark's Church-In-The-Bowery, described by editor Waldman as "always too big, messy, uneven, democratic, inclusive, raw, and even boring at times...arty, political, experimental, classy, corny, unaligned." The roster of contributors was extensive. This July 1967 issue includes Berrigan, Clarke, Gallup, Kyger, Oppenheimer, Malanga, Waldman, Warsh, Schjeldahl, et al. Pictorial wraps by Jack Boyce. Foolscap format, duplicated typescript stapled. All in VG internal order. Covers a little toned and marked, moreso to rear. Folio. Unpaginated.
