Description
ND. c.1875. Decorative cover with gold block for title on blue ground, illustrated with red and black floral design. Same to spine but much dulled. Rear board black design only with publishers monogram and number 70. Browning and wear to edges. No date but presentation label to inside front cover is dated 1889. Pencilled name in schoolboy's hand to fep. Book is "by the author of Castle Daly, etc.etc" (Annie Keary). Pleasing edition with two full page illustrations, one black and white, one colour. General good internal order with fair share of light marking. Colour illustration page is loose with fold to edge (not impinging on illustration). This is a charity sale on behalf of Friends of Morston Church (reg.1099831).
