Description

Exceptionally scarce first edition of these two novels in one book, by the well regarded Hughes. The Inn Closes For Christmas, published in the US as 'He Dared Not Look Behind' is described as "a compact study in psychological horror". A post-war economy production, but pages generally clean and bright. Block edges dulled, with a couple of spots intruding, likewise endpapers. Pale orange cloth lightly bumped. Unclipped d/j is worn to edges and torn to front with some loss to front and spine. Now in protective sleeve. 12mo. 231pp
