Wren's second novel, signed and dated by him to fep: "With the Author's compliments & thanks, P C Wren. Jan.1917." This is the Longman's Colonial Library edition, likely published concurrent with the UK first edition, but with the title page noting: This edition is intended for circulation only in India and the British Colonies. Exceptionally scarce. Occasional foxing, but in general all is in VG clean and bright internal order. Endpapers toned. Red cloth with black titling to front and gilt to spine, ink marked to front and lightly faded to spine, but in otherwise good order. 8vo. xi, 363pp
