First UK edition and no.269 in Boardman's 'American Bloodhound' detective series. ex-lib with fep removed and general signs of being well read, with some toning and marking. Orange boards however, are quite smart having been well protected by library cover. Removal of this has left some brown paper residue to pastedowns. Unclipped d/j shows light wear only but a little creasing to rear and minor loss. Rear inner flap has been trimmed. 12mo. 192pp
