Second printing (July 1944) of first edition (February 1944) of Moss Hart's musical play, with lyrics by Ira Gershwin and music by Kurt Weil, as staged on Broadway with Gertrrude Lawrence an on film with Ginger Rogers. Very well presented, with smart black and red printing and three photo stills. All in VG, clean and bright internal order. Minor marking to edge of block. No inscriptions. Smart dark blue boards with light blue titling to front and spine, showing minimal wear. VG unclipped d/j, a little worn to edges, with minor loss, faded to spine, and now in removable protective sleeve. 8vo.xiv, 182pp
