ND. c.1875 (ownership inscription dated 1876). Collection of 10 discourses or sermons on various aspects of Christianity, as preached by William Connor, Lord Bishop Of Peterborough, and William, Lord Bishop of Derry. Curious SPCK numbering system has them gathered in this single volume as "Christian Evidence Series, No.6" and numbered individually as Series 1, discourse 1 to 6 and Series 4, discourse 1 to 4. All have been "revised and corrected by the preacher and edited by the Dean of Norwich". Bar very light toning and occasional minor marking, all in VG clean and bright order. Signature and date, as noted above, to title of discourse 1. 16mo.
