ND [1911]. A nice early issue of Thomas's well informed biography of Jefferies, scarce with dust jacket. Block is bumped to bottom corner, but apart from this and some foxing to the frontispiece portrait, all is in good internal order. Pale red cloth with gilt titling showing light shelfwear. Unclipped d/j is toned, esp to spine, with minor loss to head of spine and a little creasing. Now in protective sleeve. 16mo. 352pp
