Exceptionally scarce autobiography of B-24 bomber pilot who served in the Second World War in the US Eighth Air Corps. As the cover states: "You don't send a man to war and get the same man back". Written at the age of 83, McGregor draws parallels with the (then) recent war in Iraq and the fate of returning soldiers.All in VG condition throughout, clean and crisp internally with one folded page.
