Excellent volume in Croift-Cooke's multi part autobiography, covering much including his writing and bookselling successes, and in particular, his travels in Europe immediately prior to WW2. Dust spotting to top edge of block, but otherwise all in VG clean and bright order. Light shelfwear to pale yellow boards with bright gilt titling to spine. Good unclipped d/j, a little worn to edges, faded to spine and marked to rear, with some closed tears deftly repaired internally. 8vo. 247pp
