Description
This s the 1969 second (and reset) edition of the Folio Society's excellent two volume 1954 Decameron with all in VG+ clean and bright order throughout, bar light toning to block edges. Buckland-Wright's illustrations showing well. Brown cloth with red and green decoration and bright gilt titling, very lightly rubbed. No d/j, rather publisher's slipcase. This a little battered (but has done its protective job well!), with some internal repairs to panel split at top. 4to. Vol.1: The First Five Days, 393pp; Vol.2: The Last Five Days, 324pp
