Description
1956 edition of this excellent annual guide to Bordeaux wines. In English and French languages. A series of introductory articles is followed by details of all the chateaux, illustrated throughout with photographs, and most attractive colour maps. Map stock lightly toned, but otherwise all is in VG internal order. This copy sports a slight variation on the usual cover, suggesting it was produced as a gift to clients of MM Barton Et Guestier. Oversize card covers worn to edges, a little creased and marked front and rear, with small loss at head of spine. Nevertheless a most attractive volume. 1958 edition also available. 4to. lii, 200pp
