Description
ND. c.1940. Interesting reflection of "changing conditions, of different habits and different modes of living" brought on by World War 2. With advice ranging from "how to save your dinner if air-raids come" through to "sauces to make wartime food more interesting" all will apparently be well as long as there is Stork margarine in the larder. Recipes illustrated with good b/w photos. Internally a little light marking and toning of stock, and minor rust marking from staples to centre spread. Card covers more heavily marked and a little worn. 8vo. 64pp
