Description
"Savage humour and penetrating observation" abound in Waugh's portrayal of contemporary family life, now hard to find in first edition as here. All in VG+ clean and bright internal order bar some very light marking to endpapers and a little dust spotting to top of block. No inscriptions. Light edgewear to pink boards, a little bumped, with bright gilt titling. Unclipped d/j is G-/fair, with creasing, marking and a closed tear to front and further tear with some loss to rear, + internal repairs, and now in removable protective sleeve. 8vo. 158pp
