Description

From the edition of 152 copies of which 127 are on hand made Arches paper as thus. Tissue guards laid in to both engraved titles and reproduced illuminated manuscript. Gilt to top of block, otherwise pages roughcut. Most attractive and all in VG, clean and bright internal order bar offset toning to endpapers. Stiffened brown paper wraps with bright gilt decoration and titling are particularly smart having been well protected by an additional card wrap, plain to front but titled to spine. This scarce, and a little worn with some loss to spine. In publisher's slipcase, this marked, faded and worn. 8vo.xxviii, 78pp
