Description
Better known as the creator of Lassie, Knight was a highly gifted writer, as demonstrated by his Sam Small stories for children. Stock lightly toned with occasional marking, but in general good order. D/j has at some stage been taped to pastedowns, with tape now removed, but residues remain. Blue boards faded to extremities, with gilt titling to spine. Clipped d/j also shows some tape residue to inner flaps, but is otherwise in VG order and now in protective sleeve. Upper board leads a little. 12mo. vii, 235pp
