Fascinating volume from the Portuguese Ministry Of Colonies, dealing with its African territories. Well illustrated with maps and photographs. The first of two volumes, the second (not present) covers the Cape Verde Islands. A little minor spotting to block edge, but this rarely intrudes onto pages which are otherwise in VG, clean and bright internal order. No inscriptions. A little marking to decorated card covers and some wear and creasing to spine. Portuguese language. 8vo. 400pp + plates and extensive index.
