First printing of this collection of "pen portraits of true country dwellers", mostly from rural Essex, and pleasingly accompanied by Aldridge's illustrations. Dust spotting to top of block and light toning to stock, but otherwise all in VG internal order. No inscriptions. Light shelfwear and minor bumping to smart sage cloth.
