Description
Third, corrected, edition of Enfield's successful collection of improving excerpts from great literature, preceded by an essay on elocution which, with its eight excellent rules, would merit reintroduction to the curriculum. A little marking and foxing and some ink signature practice from James Harrison in 1813, but for the most part in good internal order, bar one small closed tear and loss to foot of final page, not affecting text. Full leather binding well worn with loss to head and foot of spine. 16mo. xxxiv. 405pp
