Description
Street's novel of the "outrageous life" of Gordon Roper, chartered accountant turned gentleman farmer. All in generally good internal order, however there is a stain to the leafing edge of the block, just intruding onto the pages, hence the 'fair' rating. Former owner's name to front pastedown. Black boards lightly worn and gently bumped. Upper board leads a little. G- unclipped d/j, faded to spine, with some wear to edges and spots of something akin to dried glue to rear. Best regarded as a first edition reading copy. 8vo. 191pp
