Kay's remarkable children's story set during the rise of Nazism is widely available in paperback and reprints, but scarce in this first edition. Some dust spotting to top of block and light toning/minor spotting to page edges, but otherwise all in VG clean and bright internal order. No inscriptions. Small children's bookshop sticker to front pastedown. Smart brown boards with bright gilt titling to spine. Upper board leads very slightly. VG clipped d/j, lightly worn and faded to spine. NB. What appears to be a tear to upper rh side of front panel is part of the jacket design. This is a charity sale for Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 8vo. 206pp
