ND. (Henry) Maurice Carlyle Henshaw (1871-1943) was Guide Lecturer at Osterley Park which opened to the public in 1939 and this collection reflects both that location and the circumstances of the time with poems ranging from Robert Adam to Hitler ("Grim visaged man with the Swastika mind"). Exceptionally scarce and apparently not held in any library collections. Very good internal order. Card cover lightly marked. Inscribed to "Ruby" by the author.
