Description
ND, but ESTC suggests 1782. Scarce edition by Cumberlege, successor to Wicksteed and Hinton but shortly to be succeeded himself by W Bent, whose editions are far more common. This is signed by Cumberlege to indicate a genuine edition. The two parts bound together, the second part presumably an earlier impression as title page just cites John Hinton. Backstrip present, but no boards, thus a very suitable candidate for restoration/ rebinding and priced accordingly. No prelims. Impimatur is signed at base, much browned and with some marks, with frontispiece to verso. Two small lateral closed tears to title page. All else in good order with just occasional foxing, wear, etc. Single blank at rear near-detached. 16mo. i)156 + ii)156pp.
