Description
Remarkably scarce first edition of this charming book in very good condition throughout. Crisp clean and bright internally. Pleasingly produced with coloured frontispiece by Montgomerie and "twenty photographs from a Hampshire Garden" each tipped on to printed borders within text. Patterned purple and grey boards, a little faded to spine. Good d/j a little worn to edges, creased with closed tear at bottom, and tanned to spine. Companion volume, "Gardening Don'ts" is also available. This is a charity sale on behalf of Friends of Morston Church (reg.1099831).
