From an edition of 325 copies of which this is no.173. Attractive engravings by Gibbings. A little marking to block edge, but this not intruding onto pages which are clean and bright throughout. This bar one spread where offsetting from a bookmark has left some tanning. Blue/cream cloth boards rather grubby, though only lightly worn. Dulled gilt titling to spine. Front board a little distorted at foot. Folio. 245pp
