Description
A thoroughly enjoyable read, not least because of Grant's opinionated and slightly gossipy style and apparent knowledge of the financial performance of all of Britain's newspapers. Three volume set, the first two published by Tinsley Brothers, the last by Routledge, though all in near-uniform Tinsley bindings. All in general good order. Occasional minor foxing, bindings a little shaken and some pages uncut. Publisher's ad page at rear of volume 2 is part missing. Purple cloth worn to edges, a little marked and lightly faded to spine. 8vo. i.456, ii.462pp, iii.564pp
