ND. [1896 - dated from ads]. Popular Scottish sporting novel, notable in this edition chiefly for its illustrated paper-covered boards. These most attractive, with colour printing front and to spine. Advertising endpapers split at front hinge thus some looseness, but still holding. Light toning to page edges, but otherwise all in good internal order. Boards well worn and bumped to all edges, with binding cloth showing through in places. Still an attractive volume nevertheless. 12mo. 424pp + ads
