Description
c.1,500 engravings and accompanying text, illustrating the highlights of the 1862 exhibition, the first major such event in London since the Great Exhibition of 1851. Much sniping in the editorial against the official catalogue, and promotion of this volume as a far superior record. Light toning to stock, but otherwise in VG crisp and bright order throughout. A couple of pages with chips, but these minor. Handsomely rebound in blue buckram with gilt titling to spine. Folio. xii, 324pp
