First UK edition and exceptionally scarce in d/j, as here. Light spotting to block edges, but with the exception of title pages, this rarely intruding internally. Thus in general VG, clean, bright order. No inscriptions. Smart blue cloth with black decoration and titling. Good unclipped d/j with wear to edges and small loss at foot of spine. Light toning to spine and rear and now in removable protective sleeve. 12mo. 284pp + publisher's ads.
