Though seemingly entirely forgotten now, Riley had sold half a million books in this series by the time of this publication. This is the Popular (ie. cheap) Edition but apart from toning to stock is in generally good internal order. Front endpaper is repaired at hinge with clear tape.Neat gift inscription (for Xmas 1924) to fep. Light wear to green boards with darker green decoration and titling.
