Description
Five hundred copies only printed by New York publisher Payson & Clarke for presentation to notable authors, rather than for general sale. This copy was destined for C Reginald Grundy, prolific writer on the arts and the editor of The Connoisseur. Much of interest within on both the business of writing (and advertising) books, and on books of note published during 1928 and before, largely from an American perspective. Stock toned, but otherwise in good order throughout. Light wear to marbled paper-covered boards with brown cloth to spine, this also lightly worn. 12mo. 212pp
