Description
Second edition, "greatly enlarged", of Stewart's Scots history. Occasional foxing and marking, with some looseness to gatherings (though all holding) suggesting volume has been well read. Engraved frontispiece and title page, both marked and stained, with former owner's name faintly to title. Endpapers spotted. Has, at some point in its long history been sold for 6d according to pencilled price to front pastedown. Quarter leather well worn with small loss at base of spine. Marbled paper-covered boards also heavily worn. 16mo. 374pp + 4pp publisher's ads
